STLFW MODEL AUDITIONS- 2026
PRE-REGISTRATION FOR ST. LOUIS FASHION WEEK
MODEL CASTING IS NOW OPEN.
AUDITIONS FOR ST LOUIS FASHION WEEK WILL TAKE PLACE FEBRUARY 7TH AND 8TH, 2026. LOCATION IS TBD AND WILL BE EMAILED TO ALL REGISTRANTS ONCE VENUE IS CONFIRMED.
We are now accepting online model casting applications to audition for the 2026 STLFW (June 6th - 14th, 2026) model roster.
All models must submit an online application in order to attend our in-person model castings. Please read through the following FAQ’s and the model casting application completely and make sure you understand all requirements that must be followed in order to be considered for the next STLFW model roster.
If you attended the last Kansas City Fashion Week casting, marked on your registration that you were available for STLFW, and made the S/S 2026 KCFW model roster, you do NOT need to attend this casting.
STLFW MODEL CASTING FAQ
Who should attend?
We encourage models of all shapes, colors, and sizes because each designer will choose their models based on what works best for their collection. We do not place any requirements on weight or body type, but we do require a positive attitude!
Models must be at least 6 years old. We open Model Castings to all ages, but do require a minimum age of 6 because of the nature of the event.
What to wear? Wear something form-fitting so designers can see your silhouette. We recommend model casting attire, with a black fitted tank or t-shirt, and skinny or fitted jeans. If auditioning in heels, we recommend at least 3 inches tall for your runway walk. Designers prefer to see you with NATURAL hair and MINIMAL makeup. We also recommend avoiding any jewelry that will make loud noises as you walk - loud and excessive jewelry is extremely distracting.
How does the audition work? After our Model Casting, your casting application, photos and walk video are uploaded to a secure website. Only designers showing in the upcoming season will have access to the Model Casting database. Their requests are submitted to the STLFW committee, who then work through the model database to complete the selections and finalize the roster.
How do I find out if I made the Model Roster? Models will be notified by email if they made that season's Model Roster. Once you see posts on social media about finalizing the Model Roster, we encourage you to check your spam folder. If you were not selected, you will not receive ANY notification. Please do NOT email St. Louis Fashion Week or its Committee Members regarding your status.
I made the Model Roster. Now what? Be responsive and block your calendar out for Model Rehearsal and the Show Dates! Be sure to check your email for designer requests from President, Layne Whitehouse. Email is the PRIMARY method that we will get in touch with you. If you have any questions or don't hear from your designer, contact layne@stlouisfashionweek.com. Before releasing you and moving on to the next model that the designer requests, Layne will post to the STLFW facebook Model Group, but that is the last resort. Being accepted to the roster does not guarantee that you will get booked by a designer.
