Volunteer
Coordinator
The Volunteer Coordinator oversees the recruitment, organization, and communication of volunteers for St. Louis Fashion Week events. This role helps ensure volunteers are informed, prepared, and supported throughout the season, playing a key part in the successful execution of STLFW events.
Responsibilities include managing volunteer applications and assignments, communicating schedules and expectations, coordinating training or orientation information, and serving as a primary point of contact for volunteers leading up to and during show days. The Volunteer Coordinator works closely with event leadership and planning team members to ensure volunteers are placed in roles that best support event operations.
This role also collaborates directly with the Community Relations Coordinator to recruit volunteers through schools, nonprofit organizations, and community partners, and to coordinate group volunteer involvement. During show days, the Volunteer Coordinator helps manage volunteer check-in, assignments, and on-site support.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicative, and enjoys working with people. The Volunteer Coordinator plays an essential behind-the-scenes role in ensuring STLFW events are well-staffed, organized, and run smoothly.
